Great! I Missed the Storm!
Friday, April 11, 2008 at 08:15PM | By Bojacob You know, the one damn day I decide not to be a hermit and actually go to Kheeran after 14 years, a hurricane hits! I missed it completely!
I confess, I'm a storm addict. I love lightning and heavy rain. It just goes so well with a soft, cool bed. All I'm seeing now is the aftermath of broken trees and satellite dishes.
The cloud was going south-east, so it pretty much only hit the city. It's a small one at that...
And they said being a hermit is bad for me. Feh!

i just came home using 4th ring road.. guess what i found blocking my way .. its those dried plants you see in cowboy movies rolling across the road but these where just sitting there having fun scaring the drivers..

Man you should have seen this, there was this huge sand tornado in Mishref near GUST! We were wrapping up our football match when it started. It was amazing! *thrilled*
i missed it too! was at the salon and the storm was over by the time i was done :(

I was stuck right in the middle of a sandy tornado! A big ass 3afoor! It was beautiful, trees flying, people leaving their cars in the middle of the road with hazard lights, not being able to see the car right in front of you..
Heh! I was playing Vanguard, till suddenly a huge sound stikeing my window, and the whole room felt like a game shacking like a constant burp beats!
checked the window, RED wether! Heard heavy knocking sounds! It was Breedy! Tinny ICE! Couldnt beleive it!

Oh yah,, that sandstorm thingie... it was like in the movies! I actually was trying to hold the window so it wont break and the wind doesnt touch my equipments... (Silly Me)
Also, this is for GS, what was I thinking the moment that tornado striked my room? ... this is exactly what happens in my head..
Snakeam's Head " OMG! ITS LIKE IN THE MOVIES!... OH WAIT.... it looks like the sky is falling down on me!!!.... OH SHIT,... JUDGEMENT DAY!!!... WHAT AM I GOING TO TELL GOD??? I WAS WATCHING ANIME?!?!? NOOOOOOO " and i was holding the window.... you know the rest.
btw, our huge tree which was there before i was born was taken out of the sand from its roots.. I cried for 3 mins... yah was touching but 3 mins was alot for a goddamn old hag tree.
That Storm was Awesome! I sure hope it took all those fucked up Kuwaiti assholes I always hate so fucking much....
Man, I do love rains. Maybe fog sometimes. Lightening and thunder are amazing. I usually beg friends to go out anywhere when it rains. I really act childish. What can I say. I think I was born in the wrong place. Can't stand heat, barely have any winter clothes as opposed to what people wear. No complains anyways.
This time, I was actually in the car with my wife and kid. And man you don't wanna be there. It wasn't mostly rain or thunder. It was dust storm I almost felt inside a twister. Believe it or not, but I could feel the storm raising up the car. Not off the ground completely, but it was raising it up. All cars stopped, I couldn't see a meter infront of me. I freaked, I had my family with me. Just wanted to get them home safe.
As MacaholiQ8 said, it was strong near Mishref just where I was. And tough luck on your game by the way :)
Ohhh, and even when I was locked inside the car, I didn't have any cam to shoot what's going on ;/
